Overview Our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is charged with the effective management and supervision of the nursing staff and operations of the facility.  In addition, the ADON collaborates with the Chief Nursing Officer and other members of the healthcare team to ensure that all patients receive appropriate healthcare services. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience, including (3) years of supervisory experience in psychiatric settings. Strong knowledge of State regulations/Medicare/Medicaid/Joint Commission guidelines required.  Must be computer literate. Knowledge of EMR required. Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of Massachusetts. Specialty nursing certification preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification. Responsibilities Supervises all nursing staff. Completes performance reviews for direct reports and provides input to evaluation of staff reporting to Nurse Managers or Nurse Supervisors. Performs other supervisory responsibilities typically assumed by a manager including hiring, discipline, termination recommendations, performance improvement plans, and coaching. Oversees utilization by review of assigned staff and evaluates additional staff needs on a shift-to-shift basis by considering the acuity and census on each residential unit. Evaluates quality of care through chart audits, patient/staff interviews, interdisciplinary team conferences and patient care rounds. Ensures the implementation of individualized treatment plan and other aspects of patient care. Acts as a resource to Nurse Managers and Supervisors in addressing patient care issues. Develops and implements performance improvement surveys to monitor documentation and clinical practice in all residential units and clinic/infirmary. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
