Correct Care Recovery Solutions (CCRS) has partnered with the Massachusetts Department of Corrections to comprehensively manage and provide medical and mental health care, forensic mental health evaluation and treatment, substance abuse treatment and dental services to patients at Bridgewater State Hospital. Our Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for the overall coordination of regulatory and quality activities within all disciplines at Bridgewater State Hospital (BSH). This position will work jointly with BSH leadership to develop and implement a systematic approach to performance improvement that encompasses planning, diagnosis, design, deployment, and sustainment of processes and outcome measures. The Specialist also works closely with the Nursing, Medical, and Clinical staff to ensure effective performance improvement oversight that aligns with client, Joint Commission and state/federal requirements and is responsible for the oversight of workflows and processes that aid in the aggregation and reporting of data relative to performance indicators.
Associates degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience in psychiatric and/or long-term care, skilled, and/or sub-acute care setting preferred, but not required.
Strong ability to lead process improvement initiatives via Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies
Experience in working with short deadlines, and possess excellent punctuality qualities
Excellent ability to identify and analyze performance trends through the aggregation of data
Strong ability to act as a coach while simultaneously leading various improvement initiatives
None required, though RN license is a plus.
Plans, facilitates, and implements clinical performance improvement activities to improve overall quality and safety of patient care.
Assists with the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of performance improvement dashboards, consistent with Joint Commission standards, client, and other regulatory requirements.
Collects and submits monthly nursing performance improvement data. Provides oversight of collection, monitoring, and reporting of clinical utilization data and makes recommendations for improvement. Reports on various performance improvement indicators related to contract services and initiates improvement efforts. Analyzes performance improvement data for trends, evaluates training needs, and recommends departmental change initiatives. Takes the lead role to implement change initiatives to address deficiencies. Attends committee meetings and provides analysis of performance improvement data with recommendations.
Works collaboratively with the nursing team to assist in the achievement of departmental goals. This includes providing individualized attention to nursing staff in all matters related to practice standards and documentation including assessing educational needs and providing training to address deficiencies and improve outcomes; conducting regular report reviews to spot problem areas; and performing spot check rounds to assure survey readiness and maintain new initiatives and practice changes.
Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
