Event Production Office Asst- Work Study

Under the direction of the University Events Asst. Director for Production, Audio & Lighting Services, this position assists in processing reservation information for campus events. Responsible for maintaining and updating cloud-based event and staff scheduling calendars for student employees engaged in audio & lighting event support in BSU Auditoriums and other event venues across campus.
Using Campus Reservation software EMS , Google Calendar, and MS Office 365, this position will:
Assist in processing incoming requests from BSU event planners for PALS area.
Track & communicate changes in University events for PALS staff.
Assist in assigning appropriate student staff to University events
Assist in overall schedule management of PALS student staff
In consultation with Auditorium Technical Director, assign appropriate lighting & sound equipment to individual events.
As part of training/team building, participate in event support on occasion.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
