Correct Care Recovery Solutions (CCRS) has partnered with the Massachusetts Department of Corrections to comprehensively manage and provide medical and mental health care, forensic mental health evaluation and treatment, substance abuse treatment and dental services to patients at Bridgewater State Hospital. Overview

Our Unit Director will oversee overall operation of the housing units 24/7, including housing assignment, property distribution, room decorum, unit rules and procedures, quiet and comfort room usage and protocols, medication and medical needs, medical record documentation, emergency response and at-risk monitoring. They are responsible for implementing standards, policy and procedures and for facilitating clinical care on the housing units.


Qualifications

Education



  • Master's Degree in Social Work is required.



Experience



  • Ability to provide direction to staff and to implement progressive change effectively. Experience and knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care.

  • Supervisory experience preferred.


Licenses/Certifications



  • State Licensure as a Social Worker is required.


Responsibilities

  1. Oversee housing assignment, property distribution, room decorum, unit rules and procedures.

  2. Implementing quiet and comfort room usage and protocols.

  3. Monitors medical record documentation, emergency response and at-risk monitoring.

  4. Coordinating multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings.

  5. Coordinating daily unit rounds.

  6. Ensure a therapeutic environment.

  7. Ensures compliance with Joint Commission Standards.

  8. Promoting unit activities.

  9. Promoting the integration on the housing units of all clinical disciplines and other departments, including rehabilitation, nursing and programs.

  10. Participating in decisions concerning housing transfers.

  11. Monitoring and ensuring the implementation of treatment plans and ICP Plans, when indicated.

  12. Monitoring discharges from the unit.

  13. Participates in all assigned committees and community meetings.

  14. Completes and submits performance improvement (PI) reports in the time frames designated. Follows up on all P.I. recommendations pertaining to responsible area.

  15. Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policies, state guidelines and protocols and Joint Commission standards.

  16. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.

  17. Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.

  18. Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.

  19. Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.

  20. Perform other duties as assigned.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
