A full-service real estate firm located south of Boston, MA is active in their search for a Property Accountant.
Reporting into an Accounting Manager, the Property Accountant will focus their efforts on a hotel and residential portfolio.
Responsibilities of the Property Accountant will include:
Generating comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for a property portfolio.
Conducting variance analysis on property profit and loss statements.
Collaborating with property management staff to ensure accurate financial reporting of revenue and expenses.
Maintaining balance sheet account analyses.
Performing timely cash forecasting and analysis.
Coordinating the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets with property management staff.
Collaborating with independent auditors on annual financial reports.
Managing lender reports as required.
Assisting with analyses and models as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting 2
years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in real estate/ property accountingUnderstanding of U.
S.
